Recap

A great start from Tufnell saw us dominate possession in the opening minutes which lead to a Romaro getting a shot off inside the box making it 1-0 to Tufnell after 3 minutes. After constant attacking from Tufnell trying to double their lead, the opposition took a quick goal kick which saw the keeper pass to the defender who passed the ball perfectly to their strike who did not waste time once he controlled it to make it 1-1. Six minutes later, good play by Joel who was fouled inside the box in which the referee awarded the penalty and Joel stood up and slotted the ball top right corner making 2-1 Tufnell going into the second half. A strong start to the second half saw Tufnell create several chances but were unable to put them, the opposition gained more control in the game and were awarded a penalty in which Diarmaid saved! However, as the pressure continued from the opposition they were able to score on the counter attack making it 2-2, several minutes later a few individual errors saw the score become 3-2 to the opposition. However, Tufnell did not give up and stuck to the way they want to play by keeping the ball as a team and being positive in their 1v1 battles, a penalty was awarded to Tufnell but unfortunately their keeper made a good save which saw us unable to get that equalising goal. Nonetheless, there were many positives to take from the game and we continue to work hard and get ready for the next game.
